In early 2020 I was given the responsibility of font governance for the organization based on my previous experiences in this area.  With a global staff of more than 20,000 individuals and a digital product count of approximately 1000, it was a large task.  I was responsible for working with the font foundries to negotiate and contract all of Corteva’s various font and typeface licenses, and also for educating the organization on how and when to use specific fonts.  Due to the gigantic volume of misconceptions and misuses, I developed a mandatory Fonts & Typefaces training to educate everyone in the org on the subject.  I was responsible for the entire training session from concept to completion, including copy, design, and SCORM training file.
