Miller Man Law Game

The concept of this game was to hunt for various situations where guys were breaking a “Man Law” in different locations and compete against different teams.    I was tasked with creating the interface for the pitch that the client requested.  Just the design.  Not the client’s concept.  Seriously.

MetaArcade

The early 2000s were evidently filled with company names that used camelCaps!   Anyhow… MetaArcade was a sub-site of GameTap that focused on old arcade games that could be played in a browser.  This concept was developed to convey that idea through the website structure.

Mad Housewife

This design was part of a pitch to Mad Housewife Cellars.  They wanted to adopt a 50s diner look & feel.  A limited amount of time was spent on the design through a collaborative effort between myself and David Martin, since it was a spec project, but it turned out fairly nice.

BidApp Information Architecture

This IA was created to show how an energy procurement application would function and helped define the navigation, user flow and wireframes for the project. Due to the sensitive security nature of Information Architectures, this portfolio entry isn’t very revealing.  Please contact me directly if you would like to see this document in full.

ImagineTrip

TravelZoo asked that I put together a fun promotional site and email campaign to help build some buzz and generate additional business.  I developed a concept where the customer would be able to select various activities and other travel factors.  These selections would filter a destinations list and create a fun postcard with details that

GroupTable

GroupTable contacted me to help build out an interface for their study group collaboration tool.  The only caveat was that they had already spent a lot of money on an icon set and asked that I use that in the design.  They wanted the design to be something fun not look like the typical applications

Email Marketing

Over the years I have created hundreds of email designs – from simple promotional emails to complex dynamic emails that are customized at the single recipient level.  The designs here are a small sample of the marketing emails I’ve designed in the past.

Dr Phil

I was tasked with creating a website and concept application for an RFP response to The Dr Phil Show distribution company.  The website included standard marketing flair, but also incorporated self-help segments that users could join.  The application design showcased the weight loss community and was heavily focused on goals and metrics.

Disney Marketing

I designed and art directed email and website designs for multiple Disney groups that included the Disney College Program, Disney Meetings, WDW International Program, and more.  I also played Goofy (among other characters) at the Magic Kingdom in Orlando for a couple years, but that’s not really relevant to my portfolio, so stop asking!

Ding! App

Ding! is a simple app created in-house by my agency that lets you painlessly create multiple timers.  Ding! was focused on just one thing: simplicity.  It was featured on the iTunes app store under “Noteworthy Apps” in October of 2011.
